In which languages are translations done?

The Translation Centre provides translation services in Armenian, Russian and English. Translations are not provided in other languages.


What documents are translated within the framework of a state order?

Within the framework of a state order, the Translation Centre ensures the translation of legal acts or officially incorporated legal acts of the Republic of Armenia, national reports submitted in accordance with international commitments of the Republic of Armenia, and — upon the assignment of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia or the head of the authorised body — documents to be submitted by the state bodies of the Republic of Armenia to international institutions, judicial acts and related documents within the scope of bilateral relations of the Republic of Armenia with other countries, other documents into the English and Russian languages, as well as the translation of legal acts of the European Union and the European Community, reports on the Republic of Armenia submitted by international and intergovernmental organisations, judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and related documents and — upon the assignment of the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia or the head of the authorised body — also other documents into the Armenian and Russian languages.


With whom does the Translation Centre co-operate within the scope of entrepreneurial activity?

Within the scope of its entrepreneurial activities, the Translation Centre co-operates with major organisations, including the European Court of Human Rights, the Council of Europe, the Eurasian Economic Commission, etc.


Does the Translation Centre do translations with notary ratification?

No, the Translation Centre does not translate passports, birth certificates, diplomas and other personal documents. It also does not provide services of apostille, a notary or other services for ratification.


Does the Translation Centre hold a qualification test for translators?

No, it does not.

What are the phases of translation?

Both before and after the main phase of translation, the material undergoes necessary technical processing, and terminological, editing and proofreading tasks are performed with the purpose of ensuring consistency and harmony of the text.
